| This poster has been signed by the artist R. Crumb! Presenting for the FIRST time in a PAE auction this original portrait by R. Crumb! This portrait depicts Jack Kerouac pioneer of the Beat Generation and author of culturally important works including On the Road. The Beats paved the way for the hippie counterculture movement of the 1960s fueling much of the work we do here today at Psychedelic Art Exchange! In 1985 R. Crumb created a series of portraits titled "Meet the Beats" each of which featured a different prominent Beatnik figure. They were compiled into a portfolio which is now a rare collector's item itself. This Kerouac portrait is mounted and features a beautiful signature from R. Crumb himself. Poster – R.
