Here we have an Original Grateful Dead Handbill from Southern Methodist University's McFarlin Auditorium in Dallas on December 26th 1969. This Texas show took place during the tale end of their trippy psychedelic improv-golden era and right as they were moving into an acoustic direction with "Workingman's Dead" the following year. Many West Coast bands in the late sixties would perform shows in Dallas during their tours through Texas. The reasons were simple: Bigger facilities and a bigger population of music lovers.
