The Grateful Dead played a pair of shows at the short-lived Family Dog Venue in Denver Colorado in 1967. This advertisement for said event is a real sleeper among Dead posters. It features skull imagery with a “pigpen nose”. In addition “Grateful Dead” is spelled out in the Skull's teeth. This is a museum quality condition poster by artist Dennis Nolan.
