This cartoon alien image is amongst the most popular designs from the short-lived Denver Family Dog Series. The poster is one of the best Doors posters ever produced and the only done for the band by this highly collected artist. The lettering is also one of the more difficult to decipher of any of Griffin’s work. Signed by Rick Griffin in silver ink in the bottom right corner .

*This printing has an upper left black corner. According to Eric Kings "Collectors Guide to Psychedelic Rock Concert Posters this poster had previously been considered a post concert second printing. There is however eviedence that this printing is a pre concert original printing. It is one of the unsettled issues in the series. Regardless this printing is considered to be more common than the the red triangle version.
