Here we have a CGC graded early Fillmore handbill appearing in our auction in lovely high quality condition. This benefit featured a reading by the famed Allen Ginsberg and also live music from Sopwith Camel. The handbill was designed by the late great Wes Wilson in summer 1966. Handbills such as this one have sometimes been counterfeited in the past so CGC’s authentication brings much needed stability and integrity to this popular area of the marketplace. With Wilson's recent passing last year making national headlines collector demand has mushroomed for anything designed by the iconic artist ever since.
