This is the FIRST CGC graded example of this large Vulcan Gas Company poster we've ever auctioned! Austin's own "Shiva's Headband" were the headlining group performing and this beautiful poster advertises several shows through the first week of February 1968 at the venue also featuring Conqueroo Lost & Found and the Georgetown Medical Band. Just 500 posters were originally produced and the beautiful split-fountain ink VG-14 is one of the most difficult to find issues of the series.

The material that was created for the Vulcan Gas Company in Austin Texas in the 1960's are some of the most desirable and valuable in the entire genre of Psychedelic Concert art. Very few of these posters exist in ANY condition today and the few that have surfaced over the years have been mostly restored. This piece is 100% Original with no restoration!
