Here is the FIRST example of this issue to appear in our auction! Artist Allen Jaeger designed this wonderful limited edition poster to promote a 1999 concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans Louisiana featuring The Melvins and Hovercraft. It is IMPORTANT TO NOTE that there were ONLY 140 of these original limited edition posters produced. The Melvins were one of the top underground grunge bands of the late 80’s and early 90’s inspiring and influencing several groups of the era like Nirvana and the Screaming Trees. Although they never reached the same level of popularity The Melvins are highly regarded as one of the founders of the Pacific Northwest grunge era.
