This original mailer card is being offered for the FIRST TIME in our auction and features the great Pete Seeger in New York on June 8th 1963 at Carnegie Hall! This is an unused ticket order form / mailer distributed by Harry Leventhal management to promote the show. By the 1960's Seeger was a senior figure in the new folk revival centered in Greenwich Village. This Carnegie Hall concert was the last New York appearance by the folk singer & and social activist for over a year. A couple weeks after this show he embarked on a massive tour which included shows in Europe Africa and Australia.
