Presenting the FIRST original first printing of this double sided handbill to appear in our auction! It was produced for the Doors appearing with Jefferson Airplane (also Blonde on Blonde and Terry Reid but not listed on the handbill) at the Roundhouse in London England on September 6th & 7th 1968. It was the Doors FIRST shows in the UK!
The handbill promotes the Doors on the front and the Airplane on the reverse. The shows were promoted by the London underground psych nightclub Middle Earth. Approximately 2 500 people were in attendance for each show both nights early and late. Lights were provided by Glenn McKay. Black and white film footage was recorded and featured in the Doors documentary "The Doors Are Open".
