| Original poster for the Sparrow appearing with Tomorrow's Ship the Freudian Slips and the Sons of Champlin at the Ark in late 1966. The poster showcases this run as Sparrow's debut at the venue. Sparrow later turned into Steppenwolf. This is the first example of this Ark issue to appear in our auction. The Ark was a small club that served as an after hours hangout for many of the Bay Area bands of the early psychedelic era. Many bands would play their regular show at another club or ballroom and then show up at the Ark to play another set or two.
