| This Original Poster was created by artist Earl Newman for the Blue Guitar Folk Music Center in San Diego. Newman created an entire catalog of artwork and posters for the Monterey Jazz Festival many on display at the Smithsonian. This is the FIRST time we've ever offered an example of this rare difficult to find issue in our auction! Poster – Earl Newman Blue Guitar Grade – PAE Excellent 71 Date – Circa 1964 Dimensions –22 1/2" x 35" Printing – OP-1 Original Pre-Concert First Printing Condition Details – 100% Original with no restoration. The front edges are almost entirely taped with scotch tape with the exception being a pull on the left edge (aligned with the shoulder); surface stains toning extensive handling.
