This spectacular original poster was designed by artist Greg Irons in 1969 to promote The Catalyst in Santa Cruz. The small intimate venue has hosted big-name artists over the past several decades such as The Beach Boys Neil Young Pearl Jam Tom Petty Iggy Pop and Nirvana. The Catalyst later in 1973 moved to its current location and only holds around 800 people. Artist Greg Irons was one of the great-unsung heroes of the 1960’s psychedelic art scene. Irons was a master underground comix poster and tattoo artist. His style was perfect for each of those mediums and this poster shines with beauty.
