The San Francisco Acid Rock band Blue Cheer was one of the great bands of the era. They were unapologetically powerful and loud. Their take on Eddie Cochran’s “Summertime Blues” is the quintessential version of the song. For this 1967 Fillmore appearance advertised on this poster the band shares the bill with the Vanilla Fudge another commercially under appreciated band from the era.
