1976–AOR 4.271-OP-1-Frank Zappa & The Mothers-Zurich Switzerland Concert Poster-FIRST PAE APPEARANCE! CGC Graded 8.5

Presenting the FIRST CGC graded example of this Frank Zappa original poster we have ever offered! This beautiful first printing Zappa poster features the Mothers at Kongresshaus in Zurich Switzerland on March 12th 1976. The design was created by artist Peter Blumer. European original concert posters such as this are special treats and rarely make it across the sea to us in such fine condition!

During this time Zappa was finishing a massive world tour which began in early January. A couple months after this Zurich show he entered the studio to work on the album "Zoot Allures" with several musicans from the tour including Napoleon Murphy Brock on tenor sax and vocals Andre Lewis on keyboards Roy Estrada on bass and Terry Bozzio on drums. The album is very influenced by heavy metal particularly on "Ms. Pinky". After Zappa's death one of the band's 1976 shows from this world tour was released to the public on compact disc as "FZ:OZ". Great stuff!
