| This poster is from the legendary Ultrasounds Collection the most extensive and finest quality collection of concert posters from this era. This lot is amongst the very FIRST posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded. As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label. The net proceeds of this lot will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Together we CAN end hunger. Based in North Carolina since 1981 the non-profit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina annually distributes over 70 million pounds of food and household items throughout their 24 county service region. In the mid eighties The Smiths made waves in the rapidly growing indie-rock scene. Their frontman and primary songwriter Morrissey pursued a successful solo career afterwards. These shows in Seattle and Portland during October 1997 were part of the tour supporting his sixth studio album "Maladjusted" released on Island Records two months prior. This original poster was designed by the legendary modern poster artist Mike King.
