| This poster is from the legendary Ultrasounds Collection the most extensive and finest quality collection of concert posters from this era. This lot is amongst the very FIRST posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded. As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label. A portion of the proceeds of this lot will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Together we CAN end hunger. Based in North Carolina since 1981 the non-profit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina annually distributes over 70 million pounds of food and household items throughout their 24 county service region. Here is a rare pacific northwest poster featuring Quasi and the late great Elliott Smith at La Luna in Portland on May 16th 1998. Although Smith was selling out concert halls early on as well as gaining recognition as a prolific writer & musician his all too short life ended in October of 2003. This is the first time we’ve offered this Original Poster in our auction. It was produced by renowned modern poster artist Mike King for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town.
