| This poster is from the legendary Ultrasounds Collection the most extensive and finest quality collection of concert posters from this era. This lot is amongst the very FIRST posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded. As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label. A portion of the proceeds of this lot will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Together we CAN end hunger. Based in North Carolina since 1981 the non-profit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina annually distributes over 70 million pounds of food and household items throughout their 24 county service region. This pacific northwest poster features Jeff Tweedy's Wilco at the McDonald Theater in Eugene Oregon on September 4th 2003. The group had just released the album "Down With Wilco" a couple months prior. The record was a collaboration with the band "The Minus 5". This is the first time we’ve offered this original poster designed by artist Mike King in our auction. Unlike many of the most popular and sought after concert posters from the 1960’s and 1970’s there were no official reprints of these posters that are still readily available in big quantities today. This means collectors are forced to chase down the few surviving Original First Printings.
