Presenting the FINEST QUALITY CONDITION CGC Graded example of this issue to appear in our auction... BY FAR!  The BG-5 original poster is an early 1966 Wes Wilson design for a Jefferson Airplane run of shows at the Fillmore. This is an example of the relatively primitive designs of the first few images for the venue. You can see Wes Wilson's style develop and evolve in these early issues.

Since the inception of PAE over 13 years ago we have consistently advised collectors to focus on the first 30 issues of the Bill Graham series. History has proved our advice was correct then and we are sticking with it now. SUPERB museum quality beyond any other BG-5 we have ever handled and SIGNED by the artist! Not only that… according to our records this is the finest quality BG-5 (and it’s signed by the artist) to appear in ANY auction ANYWHERE. As an added bonus this poster has been authenticated on the reverse by the Godfather of 1960’s Psychedelic Concert Posters Eric King!

In every collectibles market there is always a cadre of collectors that are only satisfied by acquiring the very finest quality specimens available in the world. This lot fits that bill and is sure to please even the fussiest of condition freaks!
