The first chairman of the Peace and Freedom party Michael P. Schon notes that there were probably fewer than 100 of these posters produced back in the day.
Beginning in California The Peace and Freedom Party was founded in 1967 focusing on Pro-Peace politics and quickly became an anti-war and pro-civil rights organization opposed to the Vietnam War. The organization was (and still currently is) also strongly in support of black liberation farm-worker organizing women's liberation and the gay rights movements. This original silkscreen poster is a direct link to the historically important anti-war movement in America during this era!
