This poster for an Iron Butterfly show at the Avalon with The Velvet underground in support is one of the most frequently requested posters from the Family dog series. It is interesting that the Velvet Underground was not the headliner; we imagine that at the time Iron Butterfly was considered more of a draw. This show was just a week before the release of the bands best selling album In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida which contained a 17 minute version of the title song.
