This Handbill was printed on the campus of San Francisco State in very small quantities to notify students of homecoming activities taking place in Fall 1966.
San Francisco State was hallowed ground and instrumental for planting some of the earliest seeds for the social and cultural revolution that is still going strong 50+ years later! Therefore it's no surprise that posters for events held at S.F. State have ALWAYS been very valuable and highly sought with collectors due to their historical importance. The Whatever It Is Acid Test The Edwardian Ball (one of the main events featured on this Handbill) and many other S.F. State issues are firmly recognized as Legendary Classics.
This is the very earliest days of the "Sixties Scene" before the Human Be-In and everything that would transpire after. As such it is an extremely desirable and important piece of San Francisco counter culture history.
