Presenting the FIRST original first printing of this rare Doors handbill to appear in our auction! It was produced to promote their appearance at the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium on December 15th 1967. The original pre-concert handbills for this show are extremely hard to find.

The Doors begin their early set performance without Jim Morrison and the song was aborted. The late show was cancelled due to Jim Morrison's inability to perform. This handbill was created by artist Jim Ford. In 1967 Ford founded Simultaneous Avalanche a psychedelic light show. That project led to designing several concert posters & handbills including the Grateful Dead at Kings Beach Lake Tahoe.
