We are thrilled to finally offer the collecting community this issue in our auction. This Original Poster was produced for a concert by Steppenwolf at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds on February 11th 1969. The Canadian band was one of the more successful bands of the era with huge paydays for the hits “Born to be Wild” and “Magic Carpet Ride”. This piece was designed by artist Timothy Dixon. Dixon also designed artwork on promo material for additional shows during the same year in Kansas City Houston Minneapolis and Providence.
