This is a collection of 3 Original Margo St. James Hooker's Ball Ephemera. These are pieces from Margo's personal collection. The St. James Estate needed to part with items to cover her medical expenses.
In the 1970's self-described prostitute and sex-positive feminist Margo St. James was the founder of the "COYOTE" organization (Call Off Your Old Tired Ethics) which advocated decriminalization of prostitution. Fund raising involved an annual hosting of the well-attended Hooker's Ball which gathered thousands of attendees through the seventies and beyond.
