This lot is amongst the very FIRST posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded. As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label.
A portion of the proceeds of this lot will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Together we CAN end hunger. Based in North Carolina since 1981 the non-profit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina annually distributes over 70 million pounds of food and household items throughout their 24 county service region. Here is an original pacific northwest poster featuring Dilated Peoples at the Roseland Theater in Portland on May 30th 2000. Talib Kweli The Chosen and more were in support. This is the first time we’ve offered this poster in our auction. It was produced by renowned modern poster artist Mike King for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town. These posters were produced in tiny quantities for small venues on very short notice. There were no official reprints of these long lost issues.
