The Ziggy Stardust record by David Bowie is one of the most celebrated concept albums in all of rock and the supporting tour became historic in it's own rite. This original handbill from the Ziggy Stardust tour in 1972 is sure to enjoy some spirited bidding - it being the FIRST example to appear in our auction - AND the first with CGC grading!
David Bowie material has been skyrocketing since the legend's untimely passing. This concert at the Fisher Theater in Detroit was the last show Russ Gibb ever promoted. By the time the concert happened Bowie had drastically changed his appearance and stage persona so the image of him on the handbill is slightly outdated compared to his popular and legendary Ziggy Stardust look.
