The late great Gregg Allman began his solo career in 1973 with the release of the album “Laid Back” in October of that year. This was just a short time after the release of The Allman Brother album “Brothers and Sisters” which was the first full record without Duane Allman. Gregg’s southern blues sensibility carried him and the Allman’s through their epic 45 year career as one of Americas premier bands.
