We couldn’t be more pleased to offer this rare handbill for the VERY FIRST TIME in our auction! Wow what a line up. The Ohio University Music Festival in 1973 was two days packed with iconic legendary performers such as The Eagles Billy Preston and a very young Bruce Springsteen. Eagle drummer Don Henley has commented on this show: "I'd first heard about Springsteen from Jackson (Browne) who raved about him. Then we ended up on the same bill as Bruce at a festival out in Ohio. So I sort of wandered in alone and checked out his set. He was just a warm-up act at this show. After watching him I remember thinking to myself that this was a guy that wasn't gonna be warming up the crowd for us or for anybody for very long".
This is a highly sought after original pre-concert handbill in ANY condition and this mint example contains NO tears pin holes or restoration of any kind. A truly exceptional gem! A great design by artist John Moore gives it that extra eye appeal as well.
