The late great Rick Griffin designed the artwork for this original PRINTERS PROOF promotional poster of the Warner Brothers Records 1977 Grateful Dead compilation album. When the band moved to Arista Records in 1977 to record Terrapin Station Warner Brothers released this large double LP compilation of tracks from the 1967–1972 period. It was titled "What a long strange trip it's been - The best of the Grateful Dead". This is the FIRST example of this rare historic Dead item to appear in our auction!
