Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers are featured on this Original Poster from a show at Winterland Arena on September 10th 1977. It was relatively early in the band's career and they had not quite gained super popularity in the states yet - their first album was actually more popular in England during this time. The group was second on the bill at this Winterland concert supporting Be Bop Deluxe. They opened for Be Bop Deluxe in Portland and Fresno the days before and after this show as well.
This is the first example of this poster to appear in our auction. It was designed by Diane Smith and includes the band's logo which first appeared on their debut album cover a year prior. It's no secret that anything related to Petty has been super hot since this legendary star's untimely passing. He leaves behind a legacy of hit songs which will carry on as timeless treasures in American & worldwide popular culture. Petty material will soon disappear and only become available at high market prices so now is the time to add this to your collection before it's gone.
