Here we have a very special poster produced for Vermont’s Phish in 1991. The concert was held at the Gothic Theatre on November 1st and the music performed has been archived here. This the FIRST example of this long lost original poster to appear in our auction! The show took place during a still relatively early era of the band's long standing career.
By 1991 Phish was beginning to grow from a college dorm bar-band to playing larger clubs and small theaters. After a 14-date summer tour accompanied by the Giant Country Horns Phish went into the studio to record their album "A Picture of Nectar" during most of July and August - before embarking on this fall tour. They performed 49 shows on the 1991 fall tour between September and December. Phish fans and collectors are aware that material from their 1.0 era is extremely difficult to find.
