This 1967 original handbill most notably announced the first appearance of the DOORS at the Fillmore. Wes Wilson's use of purple and pink in this classic design is yet another salute to the feminine with symbolic "all seeing eyes" of her reflecting mood. Gliding onto the accelerating Tsunami of energy rapidly swelling & surging into the magic of 1967 this Fillmore concert featured an incredible line up THE YOUNG RASCALS & SOPWITH CAMEL. Last but not least The DOORS completely blew the minds of the audience with their creative barrage of electrifying high voltage & "mind blowing" music! This was their first live concert performances of several of their hits including: "When the Music's Over" "Break on Through (to the Other Side)" "Take it as it Comes" and "Spanish Caravan".
