The first annual Atlanta International Pop Festival was held July 4th weekend of 1969. The festival was organized by promoter Alex Cooley. He was also one of the organizers of the Texas International Pop Festival a few weeks later on Labor Day weekend. Legendary artists like Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin performed along with a powerful lineup of artists and the Atlanta Pop festival went down in history as one of the great events in the south.

Few of these original posters still exist today in ANY condition. We have only auctioned this issue a handful times over the past 13 years and this one being only the 4th un-restored example with third party authentication. Last year an example with restoration graded by CGC at 4.5 reached $510 in our auction.
