Original First Printing CGC Graded Handbill featuring one of the most popular Psychedelic Grateful Dead images of all time! This trippy “Acid Drop” imagery was created by Steve Catron for a series of concerts by the Grateful Dead and Chuck Berry at the Carousel Ballroom on March 29-31 1968. The Carousel Ballroom series exhibited some of the more interesting and unusual promotional material of all time. Besides its unparalleled art and iconic bands in the lineup this Carousel Ballroom handbill was produced in extremely small quantities. Very few examples of this issue still survive today in ANY condition.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to overwhelming demand for another example we auctioned last month (coincidently the same grade) at a world record high hammer price we have decided to list this piece now - a month later. The CGC numerical grade is the same however this is a different handbill.
