This Wes Wilson original postcard announced a Fillmore Auditorium appearance by The Blues Project; the band that was a vehicle for the genius of Al Kooper. Kooper was also instrumental for his part in Bob Dylan’s game changing Highway 61 Revisited album.

Zappa and the Mothers of Invention played in support at this show; they were just two months shy of the release of "Absolutely Free" the follow up recording to the groundbreaking “Freak Out” album.

Original Postcards are without a doubt one of the fastest growing segments of the marketplace for vintage 1960’s concert poster art. Why? The reason is simple. These beautiful postcards display the same iconic art feature the same classic bands are created by the same legendary artists and are linked to the same moments in history as their far larger posters. Not only are these postcards a tiny fraction of the cost of the posters they are also FAR EASIER to store and collect.
