Cream was at the height of their game at the time of the shows. Having formed in 1966 the band met with critical acclaim. However after a couple of years of heavy touring the band was strained by internal conflict between Baker and Bruce. They would close down shop by the end of 1968.
In June 2018 a lower 5.0 graded example reached $489 in our auction. In any other collectibles market this poster would be worth many multiples of the previously sold example. It will be interesting to see what premium the market attaches to this superior example now.
