This poster is from the legendary Ultrasounds Collection the most extensive and finest quality collection of concert posters from this era. This lot is amongst the first posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded.

Produced for hanging in ticket agencies and coffee houses this Original Poster promotes a 1994 Oasis concert at the Satyricon in Portland. The famous Gallagher brothers’ group still had their original lineup and this was the second date of their first major US tour. This piece was designed by noted contemporary poster artist Mike King and it's in Superb Museum Quality Condition!

Material from the pacific northwest is always considered special by collectors. They often tell a story all their own and have a different vibe than pieces from other parts of the country. It’s hard to believe this poster is over 25 years old. “Telephone pole flyers” like this are highly collectible and are notably representative of the music loving culture that produced them. Unlike many of the most popular and sought after concert posters from the 1960’s and 1970’s there were no official Reprints of these posters that are still readily available in big quantities today. This means collectors are forced to chase down the few surviving Original First Printings like this one here.
