Superb Museum Quality Condition and the FIRST poster of this issue to ever appear in our auction with CGC grading! The Bread and Roses is an organization that was founded by Mimi Farina-the sister of Joan Baez. She became inspired by the healing properties in the relationship between audience and performer. Bread and Roses was her way to bring music to “shut-ins in prisons hospitals and convalescent homes.”
This 1980 lineup featured greats like Joni Mitchell Herbie Hancock Steve Goodman Elizabeth Cotton and many more! This lot along with two others in this auction were carefully preserved for the past 40+ years from the same consigner and music fan that attended these shows. Pay careful attention to this opportunity now as it may be a very long time before it presents itself again!
