This original Bill Graham poster produced by Stanley Mouse promoted yet another appearance by the Mothers of Invention at the Fillmore venue. This time they were the headliner. Zappa and the band were two short months away from the release of 'We’re Only In It For the Money' the group’s heavily satirical reflection of the 1960’s counterculture. Tim Buckley's January 1968 performance at the famed venue also preserved for history by this popular poster. In March 2018 a lower 9.6 graded example of this issue realized a high water mark of $432 in our auction. This SUPERB 9.8 example here should enjoy spirited bidding from collectors who wish to own this original piece in top shape!
