Here is an early Wes Wilson iconic poster for the incomparable Otis Redding at the Fillmore. The legendary Stax-Volt singer made his only Fillmore appearance for three nights in December of 1966. There was a different opening act each night. The Grateful Dead were on the Tuesday bill. The following December the beloved R&B star would meet his tragic demise.
These earlier first printing Bill Graham Fillmore series posters were printed in much smaller print runs than the later numbers in the series. Therefore they are scarcer & more sought after. This original poster is 54 years old for a legendary musician a famous venue and artist and CGC grading.
