Here we have something very SPECIAL we have never offered before in our auction! This lot contains an original ticket stub for Cream at the Miami Stadium on October 26th 1968. The quintessential British power blues trio decided to call it quits during May 1968. Later in July an official announcement was made that the band would break up after a tour of the United States and London later that year.
Their "Farewell Tour" consisted of 22 shows at 19 venues in the United States from October 4th to November 4th 1968 and two final farewell concerts at the Royal Albert Hall on the 25th and 26th. THEIR FINAL SHOW of the farewell tour at Royal Albert Hall was exactly one month after this Saturday 8pm concert in Miami on October 26th. Legendary singer Terry Reid was the opening act at every show on the 1968 US Tour. Of course the world would be lucky enough to experience live Cream again during the brief 2005 reunion but for the decades in between the band was history.
This ticket stub is a very rare and hard to find item not to present itself again any time soon. 100% Original and authentic! Eric Clapton’s grand position among the hierarchy of Rock and Blues masters is undeniable. His legend has propelled memorabilia and collectibles related to this star to soar over the decades. His guitars have sold for record shattering prices in recent years and continue to appreciate in value.
