Presenting the first time we’ve offered this original poster in our auction! Patti Smith had a turbulent yet successful ride through the seventies. The iconic singer and poet suffered a neck injury while touring in 1977 and a year later released her commercial breakthrough “Easter” including the successful single "Because the Night" which was co-written by Bruce Springsteen. This concert is part of her tour in support of her 4th album "Wave" released in 1979 a month before this show. Super rare poster from Chicago's Aragon Ballroom. Punk and new wave were in their prime.
