Material created for Frank Zappa events consistently display the coolest graphics and this lot is no exception! For the FIRST time in our auction we are offering this original Frank Zappa poster from New Years Eve 1975 at The Forum. The "One Size Fits All" album had been released that summer and it was their final studio album to feature the Mothers title on the record.
Zappa toured relentlessly from September through December with four California shows in a row (Oakland San Francisco San Diego and Inglewood) leading up to this New Years Eve party. All four nights featured Captain Beefheart in support. Our research indicates Todd Rundgren's Utopia cancelled as an opener - although he is listed on the poster. New Orleans legend Dr John and Flo + Eddie took the opening slot. A unique and highly treasured piece of history for Zappa collectors!
