Vintage Allman Brothers material is very popular and heavily requested by collectors on a regular basis. This poster was produced for their performance at Manor Downs in Austin Texas on July 28th 1979. It was the first of two Texas dates on the Allman Brothers Band’s 1979 tour.
The show took place at Texas’ oldest pari-mutuel horse racetrack. The track was a prolific concert venue holding amongst other things a number of legendary Grateful Dead shows. This unique original first printing poster is sure to attract attention from collectors because of its heavy eye appeal and amazing artwork by Bill Narum! We are pleased to offer it for the FIRST TIME in our auction! Who knows when we'll see another one surface?
