We are super pleased to offer this EXTREMELY RARE Original Flyer for the FIRST TIME in our auction! This piece was produced for an appearance by The Band at the Philadelphia Convention Hall on May 28th 1969! The Band – the name says it all. Who else but this group of roots rock geniuses could have been the one to back Dylan in all of his electric glory? The Band had an incredible ability to create timeless tunes that feel like they’ve been part of the American fabric for generations even though they were 4/5ths Canadian. This is a long lost relic from some of their earliest shows after the release of the Music From Big Pink debut that shook Clapton into quitting Cream.
