Stevie Ray Vaughan material has been highly sought after by many collectors ever since the legend’s untimely death in 1990. Here we have a high grade original handbill produced for his Warnor's Theatre performance in Fresno from late November 1984! This is the FIRST example of this first printing handbill to ever appear in our auction.
The album "Couldn't Stand The Weather" was just released six months prior and was widely regarded as a major turning point in Stevie Ray Vaughan's development and career. Two weeks before this Fresno show the guitar wizard played sold-out concerts at the Sydney Opera House. Upon returning to the states SRV and Double Trouble went on a brief yet very successful tour in California to continue promoting the album. This long lost original pre-concert handbill in museum quality condition is a relic from those historic shows!
