This original poster features the internationally acclaimed full color surf artwork by the late great Rick Griffin for the film “Five Summer Stories” which premiered in 1972. The poster promotes the May 2nd through 8th 1973 theatre showings of the movie in Orange County California plus showings the same month in two other locations. Original copies of this poster hardly ever appear for sale these days and this is the FIRST example we’ve ever offered in our auction!
For the surfing aficionado the Five Summer Stories film was an incredible barrage of audio-visual stimulus.
