This super scarce offering is a handbill for a mid week run of super special Grateful Dead New Riders shows at the Fillmore in 1970. Not only is this an extremely hard handbill to find but the shows themselves were major highlights in the history of the band. These shows featured opening acoustic sets and were the first time that the Dead played the timeless classics Ripple Truckin' Brokedown Palace and Operator.
This handbill is among the overlooked treasures that are not listed in Eric King's guide who does not include unnumbered offerings from the Fillmore series. These unnumbered items were late additions to the calendar and thus did not have the lead time to produce a strong artwork and distribution. Pieces like this were produced in much lower quantities and their survival rates are very low.
