Here we have an original poster showcasing the Long Beach Dub All-Stars performing at the Roseland in Portland Oregon in August 1997. The group included members of Sublime who had disbanded a year prior when lead singer Bradley Nowell passed away. This tour was a re-birth for those musicians in many ways and there was a needed positive vibe being implemented within their music as well as their return to the stage. Poster artist Mike King brilliantly captured the essence of the bands he designed event announcements for and this artwork featuring the classic Hawaiian Punch guy is no exception. King had a special knack for effectively referencing popular culture characters perfectly. Presented here for the FIRST time with CGC grading!
