This lot is amongst the very FIRST posters from the Ultrasounds Collection to be CGC authenticated and graded. As such it’s unique and historically important provenance has been specially designated on the CGC label.
The net proceeds of this lot will be donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Together we CAN end hunger. Here is a rare pacific northwest poster featuring the popular indie rock band Pavement at the legendary Crystal Ballroom in Portland on July 13th 1999. They had just released their fifth and final studio album "Terror Twilight". Pavement embarked on a 6 month world tour in support of the record as relationships within the group became frayed. The band retired the following year. This is the first time we’ve offered this Original Poster in our auction. Designed by modern poster artist Mike King it was produced for hanging on telephone poles record store windows ticket agencies and coffee houses around town. This is the FIRST CGC Graded example to ever appear for collectors!
